Discover the rich marine life of the beautiful Søgne Archipelago, collect fresh ingredients directly from the sea, and learn how to prepare and enjoy them in true Norwegian coastal style.
Whether you are a diver, a food enthusiast, or simply looking for a different kind of weekend adventure, this event offers an authentic taste of Norway’s proud coastal traditions.
Accommodation, Breakfast & Dinner
One Ocean offers a range of accommodation options conveniently located near our dive centre and activities. We are happy to help you find the solution that suits you best and can assist with reservations.
Guests who prefer to arrange their own accommodation are, of course, welcome to do so.
For added convenience, breakfast can be arranged through One Ocean during your stay. Guests who prefer to organize their own breakfast are also welcome to do so.
For dinner, guests may choose to dine independently or let us assist with recommendations and reservations at some of our favourite local restaurants. We are happy to help organize dinner arrangements throughout the weekend.

Thursday – Arrival Day
Guests are welcome to arrive throughout the day.
For those arriving early, we offer optional diving from our house reef.
Dinner
Enjoy your first evening in Søgne. We are happy to recommend and reserve a table at one of our favourite local restaurants. Please let us know in advance if you would like us to arrange a reservation for you.
Friday – Scallops, Mussels & Coastal Flavours
Breakfast
Guests may enjoy breakfast on their own or have breakfast arranged through One Ocean if requested in advance.
Morning Dive
Introduction to local marine life and sustainable seafood harvesting.
We will search for:
- Scallops
- Edible seaweeds
- Other local delicacies from the sea
Lunch on Board
Enjoy fresh homemade mozzarella from a local artisan producer, served with warm garlic bread while relaxing on board between dives.
Afternoon Dive
A beautiful wall dive combined with collecting scallops and mussels.
Culinary Workshop
Back at the pontoon, we will demonstrate:
- How to safely open scallops and mussels
- Cleaning and preparation techniques
- Cooking methods used in One Ocean recipes
- Sustainable harvesting methods
And of course, we will enjoy tasting everything together.
Evening Gathering
A traditional Norwegian summer evening around the fire featuring:
- Fresh Norwegian shrimp
- Good company
- Stories from the sea and diving
Dinner can be arranged independently, or we will be happy to recommend and reserve a table at one of our favourite local restaurants.
Saturday – Seafood Adventure
Breakfast
Guests may enjoy breakfast on their own or have breakfast arranged through One Ocean if requested in advance.
Two Boat Dives
Explore some of the best dive sites in the Søgne Archipelago while collecting additional seafood for the day’s meals.
Between the Dives
We will try our luck catching fresh mackerel, which we will later prepare and cook together at our waterfront event area.
Evening Feast
A relaxed evening around the fire featuring:
- Fresh local seafood
- Norwegian shrimp
- Great food
- Great company
The perfect ending to a fantastic diving weekend.
Dinner can be arranged independently, or we will be happy to recommend and reserve a table at one of our favourite local restaurants.
Sunday – Optional Dive or Departure
Breakfast
Guests may enjoy breakfast on their own or have breakfast arranged through One Ocean if requested in advance.
Optional Morning Dive
For those wishing to extend the weekend, an optional morning dive can be arranged.
Alternatively, guests may depart after breakfast.
